Our
recommendation on a monitor/defibrillator or system for small animal application
would be the Hewlett Packard 43100 unit. This system has a 3 lead patient hook-up
to monitor ECG and heart rate, high/low alarms that automatically charge the
defibrillator, built-in printer which automatically records the event. The ECG
is synchronized to the defibrillator insuring proper defibrillation. Adult 4"
paddles are standard and within the same paddle is a pediatric 2" paddle, simply
remove the adult disc.
