All Operating Room Tables

Operating room tables, surgical and procedure tables and chairs, examination room tables, C-arm compatible tables, pain management tables, orthopedic surgery tables, surgical and procedure tables and chairs, such as podiatry and ENT chairs, are available in a number of brands and configurations. Popular brands of operating room tables include Steris, Amsco, , Mizuho, OSI, Skytron, Midmark, and Shampaine.

Table Bases:
Table bases are generally on wheels with locking features, and adjustable height, and may be manual, hydraulic, electric power, or electric power with remote control. Battery backup options are available on some tables.

Operating room tables are designed for the sterile environment of the OR. With asepsis being a major concern, operating room tables are made of stainless steel and are designed for ease of cleaning and disinfecting.

Table Tops:
Table tops come in different styles, usually divided in to adjustable sections. Tops may be solid stainless steel to radio-opaque with add-on x-ray boards for shooting films with the patient on the table. Then there are C-arm compatible tables, with radio translucent top sections (most commonly the foot section) that allow for C-arm imaging through the radio-opaque portion of the table top. It is important to note that this kind of C-arm compatibility is not 100% as the metal rails and frames are made of steel. Add on x-ray boards are available for shooting films with the patient on the table.

Stainless steel rails are generally mounted along the table’s side, back, seat, and leg sections. Rails are standardized to fit the wide variety of table accessories such as arm boards, stirrups, leg holders, and so on. These accessories are sold separately.

Positioning:
Positioning is a key element when determining the right table, and different tables have different adjustable sections. Knowing what procedures you will be performing will help us guide you to the table best suited to your needs. Standard positioning features include:

Headrest sections are adjustable and can be reversed to the leg section on many models. We also carry a range of specialty headrests like the Mayfield head positioning system for cranial work, as well as ophthalmic and facial headrests with wrist rests for the surgeon.

Back sections are also adjustable to different angles to put the patient into a sitting position or reverse Trendelenburg.

Most major operating room tables have kidney elevators, and these are located between the back section and the seat section. Some tables have drainage pans in the seat section, and/or access for urological and gynecology procedures.

Leg sections can vary, and be either solid or split.

Table Accessories:
Tables do not come with accessories as they are specific to the procedures being performed. See our TABLE ACCESSORIES section.

Table Pads:
We carry table pads for all brands and models. Custom pads can be made for your specific needs.

Major operating room tables are available with various weight capacities, ranging from 350lbs to 1000lbs for bariatric tables.

Keep in mind that all tables are different and have different features. Talk to one of our sales associates to find the best solution for your specific needs. We also carry table pads for all brands and models, and custom pads can be made for your particular requirements.
